Ssj3 being mastered would be useful sorta like kaioken but I don't think it would every truly be something you would consider healthy in terms of maintaing the energy upswing.

He stated that he didnt had time to master SSJ3, but maybe in future he did ( 10 years gap between Boo saga and EoZ ). Maybe we see that form in new movie !

The best one Favourite Manga They all suck	"Mastering" SSJ3 won't be the same as "mastering" SSJ. SSJ3 requires 100% ki utilization/output. It'll just be easier for his body to handle.

I mean, Future Trunks was an experienced SSJ, but it took him a while to power up against Frieza, but he transformed instantaneously for Goku. In the manga, it didn't take too long. If the anime didn't drag it out so long, it would've been 20 - 30 seconds tops.

Though I woulda prefered them to add more to the fight like Goku vs Majin Vegeta than 5 minutes of Goku yelling in loop with everybody getting sweaty and excited.
